To ensure that our volunteers are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge to maximise their learning opportunities during each TRIGEN visit, we provide training for them. During these trainings, we will cover a list of topics, some of which are mentioned below, so that our students can effectively care for their elderly.

Emergency Protocols and Vital Signs

To allow secondary students to react promptly in emergency situations, and to guide them in measuring and recording the elderly’s vital signs.

Common Medical Conditions

We select a few medical conditions which are frequently seen in elderly patients, for example, Hypertension and Diabetes and teach students basic knowledge on these diseases — management techniques, common symptoms, etc. With a heightened awareness on these conditions, they are better able to provide advice for their elderly patients with the condition.
